The Role



Siddha Protocol, Inc. is seeking a Senior Blockchain Protocol Developer, Interoperability, to develop and enhance our interoperability solutions. In this role, you are tasked with the design, optimization, and implementation of cross-chain transfer protocols. You will contribute to technical projects from their beginning through to deployment. Your efforts are crucial in furthering Siddha Protocol's objectives of improving blockchain privacy and scalability through interoperability solutions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Design, optimize, and implement novel cross-chain transfer and interoperability protocols.
  • Lead core technical projects for our bridges, from planning through to release.
  • Collaborate with our talented product, business, and engineering teams on upcoming features and releases.

  • Support the DevOps team with new releases and production monitoring, including on-call rotation responsibilities.
  • Engage and foster our open-source community, driving innovation and collaboration.


Required Qualifications



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, consensus protocols, or similar systems. This includes a minimum of 3 years in leadership roles, with responsibilities for managing technical teams and leading engineering projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in C++, Golang, and/or Solidity. A thorough understanding of blockchain and distributed systems is essential.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, including performance management and driving key engineering initiatives. Deep knowledge in areas of Distributed Systems, specifically in Performance, Scalability, and Observability.
