Senior Software Engineer

- 4+ years of backend software engineering or equivalent experience

- Strong understanding of Python and AWS for building robust backend systems

- Experience leading teams and projects, mentoring junior engineers, and making effective architectural decisions

- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and scalable backend infrastructure

- Experience with SQL, AI, LLMs, or ML is a strong plus; familiarity with TypeScript is also beneficial

- Work primarily on Python for backend services, data pipelines, and AI/LLM/ML integrations; TypeScript experience is a bonus

- Are supportive—especially when teammates are faced with new challenges

- Can autonomously figure out the solutions for challenges

- Put yourself in the shoes of our users to craft a great product experience

- Value clear, frequent communication (we do a lot of writing & async communication)

- Are naturally curious and willing to take a step to learn something you don’t have experience in

- Feel a great sense of accountability to each other

- Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
