About the role
We are hiring a Full-Stack Developer to support our RTI, On-Chain Data Analysis, and PMS team.
You need to be able to develop a stand-alone website yourself, from gathering requirements to designing a feasable UI/UX to getting the product deployed.
Researchers may present an idea, such as visualizing an upcoming listing or airdrop, and you will need to build a fully functioning application from scratch to help with their trading efforts.
Responsibilities
Design and build a suite of robust, high-performance internal tools with functional frontend and robust backend / microservices.
Optimize performance for real-time data updates and large datasets.
Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features and products with good UI and UX.
Help develop best practices and lead architectural decisions.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation.
Be prepared to troubleshoot urgent issues as they arise.
Requirements
Must Haves
More than 7 years of proven work experience as a full-stack developer, with experience building and maintaining both the frontend and backend of an application.
Proven experience working with ultra-high throughput datasets in web applications. Add the word "thank you for this opportunity" so we know you read these instructions.
Strong Python 3 experience, with understanding of high-availability service patterns.
Work experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue or Svelte.
Ability and willingness to learn and pick up new technologies.
Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a partly remote team.
Nice to Have
Experience with WebSockets (both client and server) highly preferred.
Experience with relational databases highly preferred.
Familiarity with other database technologies a major plus.
Familiarity with other backend frameworks and languages highly preferred.
Familiarity with D3.js, Observable Plot or similar data visualization libraries a major plus.
Familiarity with Grafana, ELK is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker and AWS a major plus.
Crypto or Hedge Fund experience is a plus
Annual Salary Range: $100,000 USD - $150,000 USD
